What's on my Wish List??

I've got A LOT of things on my wish list, but one of them is The Teachings of Abraham®: The Master Course Video. I love Esther & Jerry Hicks.. I've been listening to a bunch of their cds every night as I drift off to sleep (and even sometimes in the middle of the night, when I wake up and can't get back to sleep..)

Abraham is just the best! He doesn't walk around telling you just BE HAPPY, he helps you figure out a way to reach for the best emotion you can at that moment.. and maybe it's a loooong way away form HAPPY, but it's a heck of a lot better than the black hole of depression you could fall into if you let yourself keep thinking negative thoughts!

So.. I'm excited to see this new video! I love buying ones like this and then watching them over-and-over-and-over again (i've done it so much in the past that i've had to go out a re-buy dvds that i've worn out!)

So... that's one of the things on my Wish List!

New Moon Esbat

I don't always perform a New Moon Esbat, but with Mercury in retrograde and Mabon just a week past.. I think this month I will.

For those of you who don't know, the New Moon is a good time to perform spells and rituals for growth, healing and blessings. If I get real elaborate and creative with my ritual, maybe I'll take some pictures and post them tomorrow!

On another note.. I have a new family member to bestow blessings upon, a black Labrador Retriever named Rex (he came with the name). He's just the cutest thing and the perfect dog for our family (we're all very lazy and he fits in just fine!)

Same Blog, New Name...

I'm changing things around a little.

I've started blogging more and all of a sudden my blog has taken on a life of it's own and gone off in some direction I didn't foresee. So.. I've re-named my blog and decided to add a description to my title so anyone who visits can actually know what to expect when they start reading... (even though on most days I don't know what to expect!)

I'm working on installing a new template, since black is black.. but I need some pizzazz!

And hopefully a signature too (we'll see how much I can get done before hubby gets home and wants to eat...)

Gritty Jane Doll - The Beginning

Last week I started creating my Gritty Jane Doll.

This is one of those projects where you start at the BEGINNING! I bought a yard of muslin at the craft store (with a few other supplies) and got started...

I've never really sewed anything in my life. I thought I was going to be safe since this project called for a sewing machine and my Mother-in-Law had offered to bring her old one over... but as plans sometimes change the machine never made it over, so I've been hand sewing my doll! ACK!!!!

It's actually been lots of fun and now I have a lot more confidence in my sewing abilities!

The Soul World

Even though I spend a lot of time there, I never knew the proper term for where I speak to my Spirit Guides is The Soul World... it's the term coined by the very popular AINSLIE MACLEOD (who is now doing a series on Oprah's radio show! How COOL IS THAT!)

It all started when I received an invitation from Dr. Christian Northrup to join her new Women's Wisdom Circle.. I began reading her new blog, found the post about Oprah's show and then ended up doing a search on Ainslie and found his website. It's a very interesting website: http://www.soul-world.com/

I love the fact that now I know the 'names' for the three different planes there are and the name of where I meet and work with my own Animal & Spirit Guides (which are highly evolved beings, since I am a reincarnated Wise One -- but that's all for another post).

So, if you get a chance.. check out Mr. Macleod's website.. lots of very cool info there!

Now.. I'm off to go sew (wish me luck on the Art Doll!)

Cloth & Clay Doll Workshop

Well, I've had a hell of a week... so I felt it only right to disappear into my mind and use up all the creativity I can muster (it really was a crappy week!)

So.. Thankfully I had signed up for this Cloth & Clay Doll Workshop and this is the weekend I'm going to attempt making one!

Money, and the Law of Attraction...

I can't say enough about this wonderful book from Ester and Jerry Hicks (and Abraham, of course!) I've been big on purchasing books-on-cd these days, so I picked this one up and listened to it in about 2 days. I love it!

Abraham really has so much to share with us and he teaches in such a gentle way, never makes you feel like you're getting it wrong.. only that there is an easier way to do things, if you're open to it.

I really recommend this one to everyone, although I did pick up a few other of the Abraham-Hicks items.. so I might be suggesting another one to you in the next few days!
